John A. Hoepner, M.D.

Dr. Hoepner graduated from the State University of Iowa College of Medicine and interned at Philadelphia General Hospital. He served his Ophthalmology residency at the University of Pennsylvania Scheie Eye Institute. Dr. Hoepner is Chairman of the Department of Ophthalmology, University Hospital Eye Institute and Director of the Center for Vision Care and Research at the State University of New York Health Science Center at Syracuse.

William R. Griffith, M.D. (Emeritus)

Dr. Griffith graduated from the University of Saskatchewan in Canada and completed his residency at Wills Eye Hospital in Philadelphia, PA. He has dual fellowships in cornea plastic surgery at the Queen Victoria Hospital in the United Kingdom and in Ophthalmic Pathology at the Johns Hopkins Hospital. Dr. Griffith is a Clinical Associate Professor at SUNY Health Science Center, University Hospital Eye Institute.

Theodore N. Smith, M.D. (Emeritus)

Dr. Smith is a Graduate of Alleghany College and Hahnemann University Medical School. He served his Ophthalmology residency at the University of Pennsylvania Scheie Eye Institute. Dr. Smith directed the Glaucoma Service at the SUNY Health Science Center for 22 years and has served as Chief of Ophthalmology at Crouse Irving Memorial and Community General Hospitals.

R. Todd Morason, M.D.

Dr. Morason is a Board Certified, fellowship-trained Cornea and Refractive surgeon with extensive experience in cataract, cornea and other intraocular surgeries. He completed his residency in Ophthalmology at the Indiana University School of Medicine and graduated magna cum laude from Miami University. He received his medical degree from the University Of Cincinnati College Of Medicine and performed his internship at the University of Hawaii in Honolulu. Dr Morason completed his Fellowship in Cornea, External Eye Disease and Refractive Surgery at the Albany Medical Center. Dr Morason is a Fellow in the American Academy of Ophthalmology and is also a member of the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, the International Society of Refractive Surgery, Catroviejo Cornea Society, American Board of Ophthalmology, American Medical Association and American Mensa.

 

Anthony P. Andrews, M.D.

Dr. Andrews is a Board Certified Ophthalmologist, acts as Chief of the Retina Division and an Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at SUNY Upstate Medical University Center for Vision Care and Center for Retina Care.   Dr. Andrews graduated magna cum laude from Yale University, earning both bachelor's and master's degrees in molecular biochemistry and biophysics. He received his medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine where he was named a Penn Medical Scholar. After an Ophthalmology residency at Penn State where he served as co-chief resident his final year, he completed a two-year medical and surgical vitreoretinal fellowship at Harvard University, the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary and the Schepens Retina Associates.

Pamela E Theriot, O.D., F.A.A.O.

Dr. Theriot is an experienced Optometrist in medical and geriatric eye care.  She is a fellow of the American Academy of Optometry.  Dr. Theriot completed her training in Optometry at the University of California, Berkley, School of Optometry and residency at the State University of New York, College of Optometry.  She is a member of the American Optometric Association, a member of the New York State Optometric Association, and holds the executive position of Secretary for Women of Vision.  She is the past president of the Southern Arizona Optometric Society, and she was formerly State Liaison for the InfantSee program in Arizona.  Currently, Dr. Theriot is licensed to practice Optometry in New York, Arizona, California and New Mexico.
